Dragon Tip of the Month – Speaking Punctuation
If you don't want to speak all your punctuation during dictation, try using Dragon’s automatic punctuation feature. Select Auto-Formatting Options from the Tools menu of the DragonBar and check the “automatically add commas and periods” option. With this feature enabled, you should dictate with the same natural pauses for commas and periods that you typically use in conversational speech, and Dragon will automatically insert the periods and commas for you. If Dragon makes a punctuation mistake, you can correct the same way you correct word misrecognitions.
